SMS is an acronym for Short Message Service.
SMS is a facility by which you can send and receive small alphanumeric messages between cellular phones. It can also be used to transfer binary payloads and to put into practice the WAP stack atop the SMSC bear. SMS can be used in any language, but that more or less depends on the handset that you are using and which language your area software supports. For e.g. English, Spanish, and Portuguese are the languages usually used in SMSs in America whereas in Europe it differs greatly.
